Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients across a 13-week travel assignment in Alamogordo, NM. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians to develop patient treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests and procedures (lung capacity measurements, specimen collection), delivering therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications), setting up and monitoring oxygen delivery, monitoring and documenting patient status, educating patients and families on medication use and equipment, and performing other duties within the RRT scope. Requires NBRC RRT credential, active state license, 1 year of RRT experience, and a current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS and additional certifications are preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

- PALS Certification
