Job Summary

Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, and administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Monitor equipment settings to ensure correct oxygen delivery, record patient progress, and educate patients and families on medication and equipment use. This 13-week travel assignment in Johnson City, New York, requires an RRT credential, one year of recent experience, and a valid state license. Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
  • Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Critical thinking

  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Proficiency in PC skills
