Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a 13-week assignment in Kalispell, MT. Provides advanced respiratory care to patients, including those in ICU and emergency settings. Collaborates with physicians to develop patient treatment plans; examines and interviews patients with respiratory/cardiopulmonary disorders; performs diagnostic tests (lung capacity, sample collection); administers treatments such as chest physiotherapy and aerosolized medications; sets up and monitors oxygen delivery; observes and records patient status; works with a multidisciplinary team; educates patients and families on medications and equipment; performs other duties within the RRT scope.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
