Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans for complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. Examine and interview patients, perform diagnostic tests such as lung capacity measurements, and treat conditions using chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Set up and monitor oxygen equipment, observe and record patient status, and educate families on medication and device usage. Provide advanced respiratory care independently while working within a multidisciplinary team. This 6-week travel assignment in Iron River, Michigan, offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
