Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a facility in Minneapolis, MN. Provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, independently assessing, treating, and managing patients in ICU/emergency settings. Collaborates with physicians to develop treatment plans, conducts diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples), administers therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol meds), sets up and monitors oxygen delivery, observes and records patient progress, educates patients and families, and performs duties within the scope of RRT practice. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
