Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including independent assessment, treatment, and management in intensive care or emergency settings. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, administer aerosol medications, and monitor oxygen delivery rates. Observe and record patient status, educate families on medication use, and operate equipment within the scope of Registered Respiratory Therapist practice. Requires one year of recent RRT experience, NBRC credential, and valid state license. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 13-week travel assignment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
