Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Pierce, FL. Provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, independently assess/treat/manage patients, collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams, performs diagnostic tests (lung capacity, samples), administers chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications, sets up and monitors respiratory equipment, documents patient status, educates patients and families, and performs duties within the RRT scope. Required qualifications include 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, state license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
