Job Summary
Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, and administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Monitor equipment settings for oxygen delivery, record patient progress, and educate patients or families on medication use and equipment operation. Maintain licensure, BLS certification, and NBRC RRT credential while working in a dedicated clinical team environment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
