Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care to patients, including those in ICU and emergency settings. Responsibilities include assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory disorders; performing diagnostic tests (lung capacity, sample collection); operating and monitoring respiratory equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery; documenting patient status; collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team; educating patients and families on medications and equipment; and performing other duties within the scope of respiratory care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
