Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans for individuals with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients through diagnostic testing, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications while monitoring oxygen delivery rates. Educate patients and families on medication usage and equipment operation, then observe and record patient status and progress. Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate care, managing irregular schedules and continuous concentration to detail. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
