Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients using diagnostic tests, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications while monitoring oxygen delivery rates. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, record patient progress, and educate families on medication and equipment use. Maintain equipment functionality and perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Registered Respiratory Therapist practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
