Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Biddeford, ME. The provider collaborates with physicians to develop patient treatment plans, conducts assessments and diagnostic tests, delivers respiratory therapies (including chest physiotherapy and aerosolized medications), sets up and monitors oxygen delivery, and educates patients and families on medications and equipment. Requires 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, state license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a mixed clinical environment with equipment setup, monitoring, and documentation. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
