Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. This travel assignment places the RRT at a Newton, MA facility for 13 weeks, performing duties such as patient assessment, treatment planning with physicians, diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples), chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and setting up/monitoring oxygen delivery. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients/families, and ensuring accurate documentation and patient progress in ICU and emergency settings.
