Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Zanesville, OH. Provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders, independently assesses, treats, and manages patients with respiratory conditions, including those in ICU and emergency situations. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, performs diagnostic tests (lung capacity, blood/sputum samples), administers therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications), sets up and monitors oxygen delivery, observes patient status, educates patients and families on medications and equipment, and supports a multidisciplinary team with patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
