Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MO. Provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans. Performs diagnostics (lung function tests, sample collection), treatments (chest physiotherapy, aerosolized medications), and equipment setup/monitoring to ensure appropriate oxygen delivery. Documents patient status, educates patients/families on medication use and equipment, and contributes to coordinated care across a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
