Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in a 14-week travel assignment in Weatherford, TX. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans, examining patients with breathing/ cardiopulmonary disorders, performing diagnostic tests (lung capacity, specimen collection), administering therapies (chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications), setting up/monitoring oxygen delivery, documenting patient status, and educating patients/families. Must possess RRT credential, NBRC认证, and state license; BLS required. Preferred ACLS/PALS. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
