Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Independently assess, treat, and manage respiratory conditions while collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans. Perform diagnostic tests, administer aerosol medications, and monitor oxygen delivery rates using various equipment. Educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation, then observe and record patient status and progress. Maintain a 13-week travel assignment with one year of recent RRT experience, NBRC credential, and valid state license. Requires current BLS certification, with ACLS or PALS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
