Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients using diagnostic tests, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications while monitoring oxygen delivery rates. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, observe patient progress, and educate families on medication and equipment use. Maintain equipment functionality and record status updates as part of a 13-week travel assignment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
