Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including intensive care and emergency settings. Independently assess, treat, and manage breathing conditions through diagnostic testing, chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and oxygen delivery monitoring. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, observe patient progress, and educate families on medication and equipment use. Maintain equipment functionality and ensure accurate oxygen rates while documenting status and responding to irregular activity schedules.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
