Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients in intensive care units and emergency situations while collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans. Perform diagnostic tests, administer aerosol medications, and monitor equipment settings to ensure correct oxygen delivery. Educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation, then observe and record patient status and progress. Requires one year of recent RRT experience, NBRC credential, and valid state license with BLS certification. 11-week travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
