Job Summary
Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses through diagnostic testing, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans while monitoring equipment settings and recording patient progress. Educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice. This 16-week assignment in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with one year of recent experience.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
