Job Summary
Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including independent assessment, treatment, and management in intensive care or emergency settings. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, administer aerosol medications, and monitor equipment settings to ensure correct oxygen delivery. Observe and record patient status, educate families on medication use, and perform assigned duties within the scope of RRT practice. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
