Job Summary
Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, and administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Monitor equipment settings, record patient progress, and educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation. Maintain licensure and BLS certification while working in Middletown, Ohio on a 13-week assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
