Job Summary

Conduct advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses in Lakewood, Colorado. Independently assess, treat, and manage patients using chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and diagnostic tests like lung capacity measurements. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans while monitoring oxygen delivery rates and recording patient progress. Educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation. Maintain equipment and perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice. This 13-week travel assignment requires an RRT credential, one year of recent experience, and a valid state license.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
  • Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
