Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans and independently assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. Perform diagnostic tests, administer aerosol medications, set up and monitor oxygen equipment, and observe and record patient status and progress. Educate patients and family members on medication use and equipment operation while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate care. This 8-week travel assignment in Madisonville, Kentucky, requires one year of recent RRT experience, an NBRC credential, and a valid state license. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
