Job Summary
Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) builds upon pulmonary management in identifying and implementing physician-directed respiratory care interventions for individuals or groups of patients. Works cooperatively with nursing and other health care team members for professional respiratory care practice for patients from neonates to adults in all clinical and ambulatory settings. Responsible for age-specific assessment and treatment of patients. May have access to PHI in the course of duties. Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree required; non-degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered. State license, active NBRC RRT and BLS required at time of hire; new grads must have State license and BLS at time of hire and obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire. 14-week travel assignment on Nights (7pm-7am) with pay at $70/hr; compensation equates to annualized rate of $145,600. Required Qualifications
- State license active
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire
- For new graduates: State license and BLS at time of hire; NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire
- Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience: 1 year of clinical respiratory care experience (preferred)
- Certification: NBRC RRT or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensure: Respiratory Therapist License - State license (VADHP)
