Job Summary
Deliver respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems and chronic disorders in Anchorage, Alaska. Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans, administer aerosol medications and oxygen therapy, and perform diagnostics such as lung capacity measurements. Monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery, observe and record patient status, and educate patients and families on medication usage and device operation. Maintain critical thinking and communication skills while working under varying supervision levels and irregular activity schedules. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
