Job Summary
Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans for acute respiratory problems and chronic disorders. Examine and interview patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, perform diagnostics such as lung capacity measurements, and administer respiratory treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery, observe and record patient status, and educate patients and families on medication usage and device operation. Work effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary personnel while maintaining professionalism and meeting deadlines under pressure. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)

- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
