Job Summary
Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans for acute respiratory problems and chronic disorders. Examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary issues, perform diagnostics such as lung capacity measurements, and administer respiratory treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy. Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct dosage, observe and record patient progress, and educate patients and families on medication usage and device operation. Complete other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
