Job Summary

Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans for acute respiratory problems and chronic disorders. Examine and interview patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary issues, while performing diagnostics such as lung capacity measurements and blood/sputum collection. Administer respiratory treatments including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy, and set up equipment to ensure correct dosage rates. Monitor patient status, record progress, and educate patients or families on medication usage and device operation. Complete this 13-week travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin with a Certified Respiratory Therapist credential and one year of recent experience.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
  • Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
