Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 13-week assignment in Viroqua, WI. The CRT delivers respiratory interventions, administers treatments (aerosol meds, oxygen), monitors equipment, and educates patients/families. Essential duties include adjusting treatment plans under physicians’ guidance, performing diagnostics, setting up/monitoring equipment for correct oxygen delivery, observing patient status, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Must possess strong critical thinking, communication, and PC skills; physical ability to handle equipment; and ability to work with diverse personnel. Licensure and NBRC credential required; BLS current.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
