Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Certified Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, as well as routine care for chronic respiratory disorders. CRTs administer respiratory treatments, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices. They assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs, perform diagnostics (e.g., lung capacity tests, sample collection), administer treatments (oxygen therapy, aerosol medications), set up and monitor equipment, observe and record patient status, and educate patients/families on medication use and device operation.
