Job Summary
Conduct respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, including administering aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and performing diagnostics such as lung capacity measurements. Monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen rates, observe and record patient status, and educate patients and families on medication usage and device operation. Assist in implementing treatment plans under physician or RRT guidance while examining patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Maintain 13-week travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
