Job Summary
Deliver respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems and chronic disorders. Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy, while monitoring equipment to ensure correct dosage. Perform diagnostics tests such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood and sputum samples. Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs. Educate patients and families on proper medication usage and device operation. Observe and record patient status and progress while working effectively with various personnel. This 13-week travel assignment in Lebanon, Missouri, requires a Certified Respiratory Therapist with one year of recent experience and an NBRC credential. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
