Job Summary

Conduct respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, including administering aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and performing diagnostics tests like lung capacity measurements. Monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen rates and observe and record patient status and progress. Assist in implementing treatment plans under physician or RRT guidance while educating patients and families on proper medication usage and device operation. Maintain critical thinking and communication skills to work effectively with diverse personnel. This 13-week travel assignment in Grand Rapids, Michigan offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a dedicated clinical team.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
  • Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
