Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurses assist with bringing babies into the world, caring for the mother and infant, monitoring progress during labor, coaching families, and assisting physicians. Responsibilities include preparing patients for birth, supporting stages of labor, and providing breastfeeding support after delivery. Requires SC licensure or ability to obtain, and relevant certifications (STABLE, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, ADV AWHONN). Travel nursing arrangement with multiple location factors and compensation based on hourly wages and stipends; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K with company match, and employee assistance program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current work experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
- South Carolina State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one
- Certifications: STABLE, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, ADV AWHONN
