Treat patients in emergency situations involving trauma or injury in hospital emergency rooms, ambulances, or urgent care centers. Quickly recognize life-threatening problems and assist with immediate resolution for conditions ranging from sore throats to heart attacks across all age groups. Maintain a minimum of one year of current work experience providing in the ER and hold a Maine State Healthcare Provider license or obtain one. Secure required certifications including STABLE, BLS, ACLS, PALS, or TNCC. Weekly compensation scales based on estimated hourly wages and location-specific stipends.
