Job Summary
CVOR Travel Registered Nurse responsible for the care of cardiovascular patients before, during and after surgical procedures. The CVOR nurse participates in patient sedation and assists physicians during procedures by administering medications, monitoring vital signs and applying dressings. Responsibilities require maintaining vitals, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases. Florida licensure is required or willingness to obtain, with BLS/ACLS certifications commonly required. This travel assignment offers physician-supporting duties at the CVOR, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401K, and employee assistance programs. Location: Gainesville, FL, US.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing in CVOR
- Florida State Healthcare Provider license or willing to obtain one
- Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS
