Job Summary
The Travel Registered Nurse – Regional Traveler is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering patient-centered rehabilitation care. Key responsibilities include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, delegating care to non-licensed staff, and promoting patient safety through adherence to protocols. This position requires strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills, along with effective communication and organizational abilities. The role also involves maintaining professional relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team, contributing to departmental quality improvement initiatives, and demonstrating excellent customer service. Candidates must have an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of clinical RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in home state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Certification as Registered Rehabilitation Nurse
