Travel Registered Nurse – Hospice

Job Summary
Deliver compassionate nursing care to hospice patients while managing individualized plans of care and leading interdisciplinary team members. Assess physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs, accurately document all care provided, and educate families on medication and safety protocols. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours care, collaborate with physicians and referral sources, and assist with regulatory documentation and payer compliance. Travel to various Gentiva locations as assigned to fill urgent staffing needs, utilizing a provided fleet vehicle for overnight assignments within a 100-mile radius or across multiple states.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius
- Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required
- Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs
