Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to hospice patients while managing individualized plans of care and supporting interdisciplinary team members. Assess patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs, accurately document all care provided, and educate families on medications and safety protocols. Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours care and collaborate with physicians and referral sources. Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs, with options including overnight travel within a 100-mile radius, frequent multi-state assignments, or regional stays. This role requires a current unencumbered RN license, minimum one year of experience, and valid driver's license, with a Monday–Friday schedule and salary range of $100,000–$115,000.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius
- Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required
- Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs
- Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed
