Job Summary
Conduct Interventional Radiology procedures independently after orientation and competency demonstration on call rotation. Manage patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection while applying knowledge of anatomy and pathology to ensure high-quality imaging. Maintain proficiency in all aspects of interventional and vascular hybrid settings, including required special procedure registry skills. Requires minimum one year of experience in IR or vascular hybrid environments, ARRT certification, and BLS. Available for 13-week travel assignment with days shifts (7a-5:30p), 10x4 schedule, and 40-hour weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 Year experience in Interventional Special Procedures setting in either IR and/or vascular hybrid setting
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
- ARRT Radiography
- BLS
- Able to function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation/competency on unit and as demonstrated by being place on call rotation
- Competency in all aspects of interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors and radiation protection
- Required special/advanced procedure registry as outlined above
- Must have an understanding of anatomy and pathology as well as how they affect the quality of a procedure
- The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude
- On-call per unit need
- Weekend/Holiday: per unit requirements
