Job Summary
Educate patients on imaging procedures, prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images, and maintain equipment functionality while troubleshooting malfunctions. Evaluate images for quality, present findings to physicians, and document all technical details accurately in patient records. Adhere to hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation protocols while performing assigned duties within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
