Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They educate patients about imaging procedures, prepare and operate radiologic equipment per physician orders, maintain a clean and sterile procedure room, assess image quality and present findings to physicians, ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions, document procedures in patient records, and follow hospital safety and radiation safety protocols. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Norwalk, CT with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Required qualifications include one year of radiologic technologist experience, a current radiologic technologist/radiography license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred. Skills emphasized include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, English proficiency, ability to read and follow instructions, PC literacy, and capability to handle physical demands and noise in a clinical environment.
