Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results. Essential duties include educating patients about imaging procedures, preparing and operating radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images, maintaining and cleaning the imaging room, evaluating image quality, presenting images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care team, inspecting equipment for proper functionality, troubleshooting malfunctions, documenting procedures in patient records, following infection control and radiation safety protocols, and performing other duties within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Required skills include critical thinking, excellent service and communication, English literacy, ability to follow instructions, PC proficiency, physical ability to handle equipment, teamwork, and the ability to work under varying schedules and supervision. Required Qualifications
- One year‘s experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
