Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results. Responsibilities include educating patients about imaging procedures, preparing and operating radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile imaging spaces, evaluating image quality and presenting findings to physicians, maintaining and inspecting equipment, documenting procedures, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. Essential skills include critical thinking, strong communication, ability to read/write English, PC proficiency, physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to manage schedules and maintain focus under pressure. Physical, sensory, and mental requirements emphasize mobility, equipment handling, patient interaction, attention to detail, and adaptability. Required Qualifications
- One year‘s experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
