Job Summary
Conduct advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment, maintain and sterilize the procedure room, and evaluate images for quality while presenting findings to the healthcare team. Educate patients about imaging procedures, document all technical details accurately in patient records, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as needed. Follow hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation safety protocols while performing duties within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
