Job Summary
Operate advanced radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images per physician orders while educating patients on procedures and addressing questions. Maintain and sterilize the work environment, inspect imaging equipment for functionality, and troubleshoot malfunctions as needed. Evaluate images for quality, present findings to the healthcare team, and document all technical details accurately in patient records. Adhere to hospital safety protocols including infection control and radiation safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. This 13-week travel assignment in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, supports Fusion Medical Staffing's mission to improve lives through dedicated clinical care.
Required Qualifications
- One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
