Job Summary
Position patients for treatment with accuracy, administer prescribed radiation doses using advanced equipment, and perform regular checks to ensure proper functionality. Review prescriptions and patient charts to confirm compliance, follow radiation protection principles for patient and staff safety, and maintain accurate records of dosages and settings. Conduct treatment sessions independently under physician direction while observing and reassuring patients during procedures. This 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, supports the mission to improve lives through compassionate cancer care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses
