Job Summary
Administer targeted radiation therapy to treat cancerous tumors as prescribed by radiologists and oncologists, positioning patients with precision and operating advanced equipment. Conduct independent treatment sessions while performing regular equipment checks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining records of dosages and patient reactions. Adhere strictly to radiation protection protocols to ensure safety for patients, staff, and others, and report any unusual patient responses to the physician. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses
